BCM provides the licensing of agricultural and related pest control. BCM offers three types of pesticide applicators licenses: Private, Commercial and Public.

PRIVATE APPLICATORS renewing with CEUs must earn a total of eight (8) CEUs.

-Four (4) must be core CEUs

-Plus, four (4) private applicator agricultural CEUs.

COMMERCIAL APPLICATORS and PUBLIC APPLICATORS renewing with CEUs must earn the following:

-Four (4) CEUs per license

-Plus, the required number of CEUs for each category to be renewed.

Pesticide applicators holding a valid Florida pesticide applicator’s license must become recertified in order to renew their license. The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) provides for the licensing of pesticide applicators.

Applicators have the following options to become recertified:

-Taking the certification exam again, or,

-Earning FDACS approved Continuing Education Units (CEUs) during the license period.

If an individual has more than one type of license (private, commercial or private) the same CEUs may be used to renew each of the license, provided that the CEUs were earned during the license period for each license (from the date the license was issued until it expires) up to one year after Expiration.

APPLICATOR RESPONSIBILITY: It is the applicators responsibility to;

-Keep their Record of Attendance forms showing earned CEUs.

-Submit their Record of Attendance forms to the licensing Section at the time of license renewal.

-Notify the licensing Section in writing of any change in mailing address or other information on file.
