In the state of North Carolina, structural pest control certification and licensing is divided into three phases according to the type of work performed. A person may be licensed or certified to do pest control work in any or all of these phases.
This law also establishes three classes of structural pest control applicators. These are
Phase P - Household pests (cockroaches, fleas, silverfish, ants, rodents, etc.) by any method other than fumigation.
Phase W - Wood destroying organisms (termites, powderpost beetles, fungi, etc. ) by any method other than fumigation.
Phase F Fumigation (to apply pesticides that control pests as a gas). This phase is not required for aerosols, fogs, mists or ULV/ULD applications.
Certified applicators and licensees are certified for a five-year period. Applicators may be certified for another five-year period by:
NOTE: Licensees holding an inactive license are subject to the same requirements as for recerttification above.
NOTE: No more than one half of the CCU's can be obtained from electronic sources (internet).

To register for the online courses, click here for the Credit Card Registration (instant passwords) or call for correspondence courses. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover and Checks. Once payment has been received, we will email or fax your list of passwords to enter the courses. These passwords will be good until the states' current year deadline. All classes must be completed in the current year registered in. After that a new registration will be required and a new fee charged. The courses may be printed out to study or studied on screen. When you have completed the study material, go to the "Test Questions for Credit". The test will consist of 10 randomly generated questions. PRINT the test out, answer the questions on paper and fax or mail this back to Pestnetwork.com. Once received, the test questions will be reviewed, a Certificate will be issued and the licensing agency notified of your CEUs. We will maintain your records for the appropriate time frame.
